Perfects Chemistry is one of my favorite books. It takes falling in love to a new level. Brittany and Alex, the main characters, live on the opposite ends of town, and live totally different life styles. Alex lives in the South end, and is part of the Latinos, a gang, and Brittany lives in the rich North end, and she is the head cheerleader. When they are partnered up in Chemistry class, all they do is bicker and hate each other. As the story goes on, they start to have feelings for each other, but they deny it. Finally they are head over heels for each other and they end up spending the rest of their lives together. This may sound like a typical love story, but there are many details I left out so I don’t spoil the story.

I absolutely loved this book. I read it in about a day and a half. It is intriguing and captures the reader right from the beginning. I love how the author combined opposite worlds and how the characters turned bad into good. I also love how this story is from two different points of views. You read half of the story from Alex, and half from Brittany. This way you understand how both characters are feeling and why they act a certain way.

I would highly recommend this book to girls, and I bet even some guys would enjoy it too. Even though it is a love story, you hear the story from a guy which is interesting, and you read a lot about gangs.
